Trying to lose arm fat can be difficult… It can often feel like, though you’re doing all the push-ups you can, that stubborn fat just isn’t budging.
Luckily, we’ve compiled a list of tips and exercises that are scientifically proven to help with flabby arms. Let’s get started!
It’s important, first and foremost, to remember that no exercise regime can fix a bad diet. In order to lose weight anywhere on the body, a holistically healthy approach is needed.
Whether you want to track calories or to try out a new diet, it’s important to eat as much fruit and veg and as many whole foods as possible. Drink lots of water and make sure that you are providing your body with enough energy!
Don’t focus on trying to get the results in the shortest possible time. We know, you’re wondering, “how can I slim my flabby arms fast?” and this is possible in a relatively short amount of time. However, you should never participate in any crash diets or binging in order to get there.
Performing any resistance-based exercise, like bicep curls, can really tone up your arms, even if you only have access to light weights. By building up the muscle in your arms, you increase your body’s ability to burn fat. It’s a win-win!
To target the back of the arms or “bingo wings,” tricep dips are great. Simply sit with your back against a low platform (a bed will work) and place your palms either side of your body onto the platform. Lift up off the floor so that your body weight is supported by your arms, bend your arms and then straighten them again.
A simple exercise but a good one, arm circles are one of the best exercises to lose arm fat. Extend your arms out straight and move them in circles, clockwise and then anti-clockwise. This is a quick and easy way to get those arms burning.
Bonus tip: you’re eating healthily and performing targeted exercises regularly and you’re still wondering how to lose arm fat because you’re not seeing results, try adding in some extra cardio. Even a quick run or a 10 minute HIIT blast can make a huge difference!
