  4. Do not let the price or the looks of the shoe sway you in your purchase. You are going to want to get the one that best fits you and is comfortable.
  5. Try to go to a store that is dedicated to finding the right shoe rather than just selling you whatever they have on the shelf.
  6. Consider buying more than one pair in a different brand. Why is this? This way you can alternate these shoes to get the best performance. It gives your feet a chance to use different muscles when you alternate shoes each day.
  7. Pick the shoe that is best suited for what you do. For those who are running, find a running shoe. For those who are taking a fitness class, they may find that a cross trainer is the best option.
