Brazilian Diet: Explanation and One Week Sample

There are several diets that become all the rage throughout the world. And one of these is the Brazilian diet. What is this diet? Is it a diet that you could easily implement into your life? And could it give you the results that you have been striving to find?

What is the Brazilian Diet?

When you look at the Brazilian diet, you are going to find that this is all about eating as if you were living in the Brazilian culture. The diet itself is not meant to shed pounds. However, research shows that changing the way that you eat to this can actually help to lose weight when followed consistently. It is a rich protein diet that is all about portion control, as well as having a fast period of 8 hours in between meals to encourage weight loss. Those who have used this diet often say that it is taking an approach that you eat to survive and not survive to eat.

Brazilian Diet Plan: One Week Sample

For those who are interested in the Brazilian diet plan, here is a one week sample of what you could eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast Options:

  1. Glass of orange juice with one orange and banana
  2. Slice of toast with 2 glasses of non-fat milk
  3. Fresh glass of apple juice and a small piece of toast
  4. 2 apples and a glass of apple juice
  5. 100 g of pineapple with 2 glasses of pineapple juice
  6. 2 glasses of apple juice and 2 toast

Lunch Options:

  1. Two slices of toast with 2 glasses of orange juice
  2. 100g of cooked rice, 140g of salad, glass of orange juice with a tbsp of lemon
  3. 2 boiled potatoes, 3 carrots and a 100g of a non-fat meat of your choice
  4. 100g of non-fat meat, 150g of fish and 2 carrots
  5. 2 oranges, small toast and 2 pieces of cheese
  6. Bowl of vegetable soup, bowl of mushroom and fish soup with 2 slices of bread

Dinner Options:

  1. 2 slices of toast with 1 glass of orange juice
  2. 200g of a cooked non-fat meat, 2 apples and 6 lettuce leaves
  3. 200g of fish with 2 hard boiled eggs
  4. Bowl of vegetable soup, 2 bowls of fish soap and 2 slices of bread
  5. 3 boiled potatoes, 150g of salad of lettuce and carrots with a glass of juice
  6. 100g of meat, and 100g of salad

You will notice there is not a 7 day option, and that is because they view this as a choice day. But, you still will want to stick to the basics of this diet on the seventh day.
