5 Easy Mocktail Recipes for Your Summer

Who doesn’t enjoy a good mocktail on a hot summer day? Mocktails are great in that they do not contain alcohol, so you are not having to worry about drinking too many resulting in dehydration and a hangover. Plus, alcohol itself has a lot of sugar in it, so you can avoid the added calories that come from too much sugar. With this being said, here are some great mocktails that are super easy to make and will be something that you thoroughly enjoy.

Sparkling Apple Mocktail

You will need:

  • 1 bottle of sparkling apple cider
  • 1 orange, sliced thin
  • 1 thinly sliced lime
  • 1 thinly sliced grapefruit
  • Large sprig of rosemary for each drink

Add in the thinly sliced fruit to the glass, then add the sparkling apple cider for a fruity, delicious treat!

Watermelon Cranberry Mocktail

You will need:

  • 250 kilograms of watermelon that is diced and the seeds have been removed
  • 1 cup of cranberry juice
  • 1 teaspoon of rose water
  • Then some ice cubes to add to the drink after it has been combined

Pour in the cranberry juice and add the rose water, then the diced watermelon and serve!

Pineapple Mint Mocktail

You will need:

  • 2 slices of canned pineapple
  • 2 sprigs of mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp of the pineapple juice from the can
  • ¼ cup of lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp of sugar or honey

Add all the ingredients together, crushing the mint leaves to add in the mint flavor and serve in individual glasses.

Cucumber Mint Mocktail

You will need:

  • 4 cups of water
  • ½ of a cucumber that is thinly sliced
  • One lemon sliced thinly
  • 5 mint leaves that are chopped

Add all the ingredients together and then serve. You can add sugar or even rock salt to get a different taste!

Kiwi Orange Spritzer

You will need:

  • 1 ripe kiwi
  • ½ cup of frozen orange juice
  • 2 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp is added in each cup
  • 12 ounces of lemon and lime soda, any brand

Cut the kiwi into chunks and then mash this well together. Put the kiwi into the bottom of each glass. Then split the ½ of frozen orange juice into each cup. Add the sugar on top, then pout the soda into this. Mix this and serve.

What makes these mocktails so great is that they can often be made in five to ten minutes and are going to be a great treat for guests that come over to your home!
