7 Foods to Avoid when Dieting

When you are dieting, if often feels like the world is against you. Chances are you see commercials with dishes that look amazing, and thin actors. You may have a sudden craving for foods that are not that great for you, and you may consider whether a couple of hours of dieting means that you can cheat on your next meal. Remember, you are dieting for a reason. Whether this is to lose weight or to just eat healthier, you have your reasons and need to remind yourself of what these reasons are. However, are there certain foods that you should avoid when dieting? You bet there are.

1. French Fries

They are amazing to eat, but they are loaded with grease and salt. While potatoes may be included in diets, fried potatoes, which are what french fries are, is usually not something that you should include.

5. Dried Fruit

If you think about  a diet, you often think that fruit is a great food to have in your diet. However, when it is dried it often loses the vitamins and minerals that it normally offers. Plus, it can have added sugars to make it taste better, so it is not the best option for dieting.

6. Ice Cream

Ice cream is a great treat, but it can be full of calories, sugars and fat. So, you will want to avoid this if at all possible. The good news is that yogurt is often a great option for hitting your sweet tooth.
