Cycling for Weight Loss: Does Riding a Bike Help Lose Weight

There are tons of ways that people try to cut weight each year. We all know that any form of exercise is going to be a help.   • It can be indoors with stationary bikes so you don’t lose out on those bad weather days.
  • You will find it easy to fit this into your everyday life.

Even better, you can start to use a bicycle for getting to work if possible, so you are getting in your exercise even before you have to work. The options are endless when it comes to cycling for weight loss.

A few other things to remember about cycling for weight loss:

  1. Always stretch before and after cycling because it is easy to pull muscles.
  2. Focus on how long to cycle rather than distance so that you can see improvements in this as you get stronger.
  3. Keep your heart rate between 110 and 130 beats per minute for this cardio workout.

If you are new to cycling, you are going to find that the benefits are numerous and that there are tons of people who do this. So you will never be alone in this exercise.
