For some, the workout may last as long as the round trip to the gym, making working out at home more efficient in terms of scheduling for the day, as well.

If you are a beginner, you can use a heavier rope for a slower rotation. You can also jump rope in intervals, alternating with a quick pace, a slower pace, and add in intervals as needed. The more that you condition yourself, you can add in longer or more intense sessions and work your way up to a different rope.

Do house work and rearrange your home

This is not the traditional workout but while you are at home, why not care for your home and switch things up? Since you can do these exercises from the comfort of your home, you can do them when you wake up, as you watch a television show, as you wait for dinner to simmer, or are spending time out in the garden.
